Day 01

Day 03:
After breakfast, proceed on the day’s activity – the nature walk in Kibale National Park. Here you get to experience the rain tropical forest and birding, and the highlight is encountering the chimpanzees in their natural environment. Kibale National Park with its 766 sq km of rain tropical forest contains the highest primate density in the world. Among the species that you can see are black and white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, and vervet monkeys. There are approximately 325 species of birds recorded.
In the afternoon proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which lies between Lake George on the East, Lake Edward on the Wes,t and the Rwenzori Mountains on the North. Have a game drive as you enter the park. Overnight and dinner at the hotel.
Day 04:
Early morning breakfast and then proceed on a game drive along the tracks of the national park, in the Northern side towards Lake George and Kasenyi village. High chances of spotting big game such as the lion, elephant, buffaloes, and on a good day even the leopard. Included in the drive is a visit to the Baboon cliffs and the splendid crater lakes. A brief stop for lunch. The afternoon is spent on boat safari from Mweya peninsula along Kazinga channel – here also a great chance to sport a variety of wildlife, birdlife, and amazing photography opportunities. Early evening hours, proceed to the southern part of the park in the Ishasha sector, a vast savannah between the rivers Ishasha and Ntungwe. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 05:
Breakfast is followed by a morning game drive in Ishasha – look out for the “tree climbing lions” besides the herds of buffaloes, and elephants among other big game. After lunch, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is the natural habitat for the endangered mountain gorillas, it is also a Heritage Site under Unesco. The choice of the area of the “gorilla safari” depends on the availability and allocation of the permits for this activity.
Day 06:
Depart in the early morning for the tropical rainforest of Bwindi for the gorilla safari. The activity starts at 8 am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of about 370 gorillas, which is half the world’s population according to 2007 gorilla population surveys. You will have an hour of observing the primates and their behaviors as you take photographs. You will have packed lunch. In the evening hours proceed to Lake Bunyonyi, a wonderful scenery, for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 07:
After breakfast, drive to Entebbe for your departure flight with lunch lunch en route.
